Salary: Compensation will be commensurate to selected hire’s experience.

Required Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree

• Four years relevant professional experience

Responsibilities:

• Research - Conduct research work and must be proficient in evaluating CAD files for printability and optimizing models for the chosen metal printing technology to ensure the final product meets the required specifications. Develop and fine-tune printing parameters, such as layer thickness, printing speed, and temperature, to ensure consistent quality and performance of printed parts. Perform tests and validate the printed parts to ensure they meet the required standards and specifications. They must also troubleshoot and fix any issues that arise during the printing process. Perform research work with design teams, materials scientists and researchers, machine shop engineers, and quality engineers to ensure the final product meets the required standards and specifications in case of industry services.

• Compliance - Ensure that all processes comply with safety regulations and industry standards. They must also identify and mitigate any risks associated with the printing process.

• Technical Writing - Write technical papers and reports, literature surveys, prepare and deliver oral presentations.
