Posting Summary
Rutgers School of Business-Camden (RSBC) offers several undergraduate and graduate degree and certificate programs. We are seeking a Senior Program Coordinator Spvr to manage a team of Program Coordinators, who act as admissions coaches and oversee the admissions processes and recruitment funnel from prospect to applicant to enrolled student. Each Program Coordinator will be responsible for admissions functions related to specific academic programs, as well as are cross-trained to support all programs.
Overall, the Senior Program Coordinator Spvr is responsible for overseeing recruitment for the undergraduate and graduate programs, including managing and training admission coaches. This position will develop the necessary processes and workflows to ensure appropriate and consistent contact with prospects and cultivation of interested students through the application process. The Senior Program Coordinator will also safeguard the troubleshooting of student issues occurring during the admission process, as well as facilitating the cultivation of candidates to admit-coming status. In addition, this position will coordinate retention activities for current students with the advising teams, as needed.
For all marketed programs, the Senior Program Coordinator Spvr will be responsible for scheduling and managing recruitment events, particularly information sessions and virtual webinars, throughout New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, and New York. This position will work with the support staff at the program-level to post information sessions, as well as update the website and coordinate promotion of the sessions with the Marketing Team.
This position will also be responsible for working with the Marketing and Recruitment Team to review the marketing collateral for the managed programs, as well as prepare outreach templates for the Coaches to use in their communications. The Senior Program Coordinator will strive to effectively leverage the “Rutgers University” brand while working to position our programs in the market as unique and value-added.
The Senior Program Coordinator Spvr will oversee the data management of the recruiting funnel, including creating, updating, and maintaining the CRM (Salesforce)/database of information on current and past students for recruiting and marketing. From this data, the Senior Program Coordinator Spvr will also prepare reports to track progress of prospects as well as end of year reporting to support the full recruitment funnel.
Under the direction of the Director of Operations and Administration, this position is part of a team that ensures a smooth, efficient, and effective process to provide superior customer services to all prospective students. The position requires multi-tasking, flexibility, strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, excellent follow through, and the ability to work autonomously, as well as interdependently and concurrently with many people, projects, and programs.

COVID-19 Immunization Requirement
Under Policy 60.1.35 , Rutgers University requires all prospective employees to provide proof that they are fully vaccinated and have received a booster (where eligible) against COVID-19 prior to commencement of employment, unless the University has granted the individual a medical or religious exemption.  Prospective employees who are not eligible for a booster at the time of an offer of employment must provide proof they have received a booster within two weeks (14 calendar days) of eligibility .  Based on current guidance, individuals are considered fully vaccinated against COVID-19 two weeks after receiving the final dose of any COVID-19 vaccine authorized or approved for use in the United States by the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and recommended by the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).  Eligibility for a booster against COVID-19 varies and is explained on the University’s web site located at https://coronavirus.rutgers.edu/covid-19-vaccine .  Failure to provide proof of primary vaccination and booster will result in rescission of a prospective employee’s offer of employment and/or disciplinary action up to and including termination.

Minimum Education and Experience
  • Must have a bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience plus a minimum of two-three years of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. 
  • Previous experience in recruitment and/or sales, particularly in undergraduate, Executive MBA, or graduate programs

Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior hands-on experience in higher education, ideally in undergraduate or graduate education marketing, will be given preference
