JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a Senior Program Coordinator to support the Primary Care Provider (PCP) Core and Outreach and Marketing Communication teams at Georgia Memory Net (GMN). Georgia Memory Net is a statewide program dedicated to early and accurate diagnosis of Alzheimer's Disease and Related Dementias (ADRD) in Georgia. Additionally, the organization focuses on educating primary care providers regarding ADRD and connects patients and care partners to community services and support.

  • Represents Georgia Memory Net at in-person outreach events including conferences, health fairs, and GMN-hosted events.
  • Performs regional outreach related to both new and established MACs and telehealth sites around the state. This will include the distribution of printed materials to the GMN clinic as well as local doctors’ offices, emergency response department offices, libraries, pharmacies, Department of Public Health offices, etc.
  • Publicizes and participates in various special events and outreach activities.
  • Facilitates in-person and virtual presentations throughout the state of Georgia.
  • Provides on-site support at local, regional, or national conferences.
  • Assists in the coordination of annual symposia and retreats.
  • Serves as CME coordinator for the team and coordinates all CME paperwork and related activities.
  • Maintains a robust tracking tool of outreach events, presentations, and other outreach engagements.
  • Monitors information relevant to the organization, its mission, and operations and effectively communicate new information to different audience segments in appropriate language as needed.
  • May utilize various aspects of social media to accomplish work objectives.
  • Attends retreats, symposia and meetings and serves as meeting scribe as needed.
  • Works on special projects as needed.
  • Travel 30 – 40% of the time.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A bachelor's degree in a field related to specified program areas and five years related program management experience, or an equivalent combination of experience, education, and training.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in public health, health communication, marketing or a field related to the program
  • Experience with community outreach
  • Event coordination and CME Coordination experience is a plus
  • Project management experience
  • Knowledge of CME coordination is a plus
  • Experience working on Social Media platforms
  • Demonstrated ability to speak to and present to physicians/primary care providers
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Database knowledge and management to include excel and Smartsheet, a plus

NOTE: This role will be granted the opportunity to work from home regularly but must be able to commute to Emory University location as needed and at times, on short notice. Emory reserves the right to change this status with notice to employee.
