Senior Program Coordinator

Creighton University is seeking to hire a Senior Program Coordinator to support the School of Medicine.   This is a full-time and on campus role. 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Organizing and coordinating the events and programs within the School of Medicine (multiple ceremonies, awards, student orientations, and banquets).
  • Designing and developing the online eOrientation for new medical students.
  • Serve as first point of contact for students by effectively communicating the University and School of Medicine onboarding requirements along with tracking and assuring compliance.
  • Managing, coordinating, and tracking the onboarding requirements and training of the rising third-year medical students entering their clinical rotations
  • Planning and coordinating all mandatory 3rd year School of Medicine class meetings and activities.
  • Coordinating the voting and selection of major School of Medicine awards.  Planning and coordinating the provision of School of Medicine departmental awards presented during Hooding/Commencement.
  • Coordinating the development and preparation of the Medical Student Performance Evaluation (MSPE) letters for every graduating medical student and assuring these are uploaded into the AAMC, ERAS, and other residency application systems.  

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.
  • 4 + years of related administrative experience.
  • Excellent organizational skills and strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
  • Experience with event planning is helpful.
  • Attention to detail and ability to analyze and interpret data.
