POSITION SUMMARY

Position will perform network engineering to include but not limited to: support of UD’s enterprise network environment to include maintaining various hardware (routers, switches, wireless infrastructure, etc.) and associated network documentation.

Minimum Qualifications

Two years networking experience

CCNA – Current

Minimum of one year working with TCP/IP

Minimum of one year working with switches and routers.

Experience in analyzing network problems, isolating faults and service restoration.

Due to the nature of this position, applicant must be either a U.S. Citizen or permanent resident.

Be willing and able to work on call hours (some after hours, weekends and holidays)

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor degree

Designing, operating and troubleshooting a Cisco enterprise network

Operating and troubleshooting firewall environment from multiple vendors.

Experience with Radius/802.1x authentication services.

Remote access and site to site VPN technologies

Understanding of Cisco layer 2 security features and dynamic routing protocols.

Maintaining network documentation
Excellent communication skills
Collaborate with other network team members
Self-motivated and able to prioritize workload

Work Hours

M – F 8 hours
Will be required to work on-call hours (some after hours, weekends and holidays)
