Position Description:

The Senior Manager, Support Services will be responsible for the overall operation of Ryan White Part C/D Support Services Program which primarily includes non-medical case management (case management services), Linkage and Retention, emergency support (EFA) and Outreach engagement services for people in the community living with HIV (PLWH). This position reports to the Ryan White Program Director and will work together to develop the clinical quality assurance (CQA) plan and will facilitate patient quality improvement initiatives for the UofL Ryan White Part C and D Programs.  The Senior Manager, Support Services will supervise case management, outreach and linkage staff and will work with the Ryan White Program Director to ensure program meets all state and federal requirements.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Responsible for services administration of Ryan White Part C and D Grants in support services for 2000+ Ryan White eligible patients from Central Kentucky and Southern Indiana.
  • Oversee administration of the Emergency Financial Assistance (EFA) award for Part C/D eligible patients at the 550 Clinic.
  • Supervise Outreach Team members, Peer Navigators and the Part C/D Medical Case Manager.
  • Establish and maintain community network of medical and social service provider organizations and AIDS Service Organizations (ASO) to deliver comprehensive, culturally appropriate standards of care to People in the Community Leaving With HIV (PLWH).
  • Develop strategic plan proposal for activities related to Early Intervention (EIS) and program outreach initiatives to present to Program Director and design and implement appropriate program services policies and procedures in accordance with HRSA and University Guidelines.
  • Collaborate with Part B Program Manager and Senior Case managers to ensure linkage and retention protocols remain effective, and to ensure case management workflow adheres to HRSA performance requirements for compliance reporting.
  • Oversee outreach team social media and other public content production; event planning designed to improve awareness and patient engagement in care.
  • Ensures all university and federal policies and procedures are adhered to as it applies to the administration of the Ryan White Part C/D Programs and update program Policy and Procedure Manual.
  • Coordinate with Program Director to design and implement annual Continuous Clinical Quality Improvement (CQI) plan (i.e., new approaches, policies, and procedures) and incorporate best practices.
  • Coordinate with Data Manager to identify CQI initiatives to pursue each quarter around Linkage/Retention and support service management to best meet the needs of program and ensure quality patient care.
  • Manage Consumer Advisory Board (CAB) designed to gain customer feedback regarding level of care and 550 Clinic practices.
  • Conduct quarterly program assessment to identify operational challenges and develop appropriate solutions to eliminate clinical and programmatic achievement gaps.
  • Facilitate Provider and Staff quarterly CQI meetings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Target Compensation Maximum:

$87,300.00

Target Compensation Minimum:

$58,200.00

Compensation will be commensurate to candidate experience.
