Hasbro is growing our analytics and insights capabilities, and we are looking for a Senior Manager Consumer Insights, Audiences & Trends to join our team! This Senior Manager will serve as a chief storyteller and internal authority on the consumer audiences and trends important to Hasbro and Wizards of the Coast. You will lead strategic research-based consumer insights studies and build a new trends advisory capability to inform long-range plans, portfolio and brand strategies, franchise development, product innovation, and marketing. You will also partner with Analytics, Insights & Measurement (AIM) team members embedded in the brand portfolios as we infuse broad consumer and cultural knowledge into brand strategies, innovation initiatives, and campaign creative briefs.The person in this role combines an anthropologist's approach with a genuine passion for play, entertainment, and gaming. They uncover important signals from qualitative and quantitative sources, seamlessly blending data and human insight into impactful stories. Your work inspires empathy and consumer understanding that enables us to build incredible play experiences for kids, families, fans, and gamers!This position can be based in our Pawtucket, RI office or located remotely on the East Coast.A day in the life of a Sr. Manager Consumer Insights, Audiences & Trends:Collaborate with AIM Global Play team peers and business partners to design and lead mixed-method research studies, specifically consumer segmentations and foundational research, focused on key audiences for the portfolio.Design and roll out a trends advisory capability that informs business partners of key trends, cultural shifts, and emerging competitors in play, gaming, entertainment, and media.Lead the creation of high impact consumer insights deliverables with data-driven implications for strategic plans, innovation, franchise building, and marketing.Deliver strategic storytelling and presentations that scale up to senior levels across both internal and external audiences, including licensing partners.In partnership with AIM peers, develop a program for integrating audience-first thinking, cultural understanding, and trend foresight into the Global Play teams' planning and innovation cycles.Partner with the Integrated Campaign Planning team to elevate the role of quality insight as the cornerstone of creative briefs for major campaigns and marketing toolkits.Source and lead vendors for research projects, syndicated data, trend deliverables, and other custom solutions, helping grow AIM's ecosystem of vendors and tools.What you'll bring:10+ years in consumer insights or market research, preferably with several years of experience in child or fan products, entertainment, and/or gaming.Strong expertise in qualitative research methods.Strong capability with quantitative insights methods, including consumer segmentation.Outstanding ability to tell compelling stories that blend multi-method data and insights with a level of polish that can translate to GM-level presentations.Standout presentation abilities and passion for sharing insights and guidance in live settings.Track record of proactively seeking opportunities for impact and developing creative solutions for research, storytelling, and strategic application to fulfill them.Growth mindset and energy for developing all-new capabilities and ways to drive their impact.Ability to reconcile and prioritize cross-functional business partner needs when scoping large studies.Strong problem diagnosis and definition skills.Excellent prioritization and project oversight capabilities.High-level analytical and critical thinking skills.Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 tools.BA/BS or equivalent experience required, preferably in social sciences, marketing/market research, or a related subject area.MBA, other advanced degree, or additional education in consumer insights/analytics a plus.
