The University of Southern California (USC) department of Information Technology Services (ITS) is seeking a Senior Identity and Access Management(IAM)Planning and Engagement Analyst to join its Identity Access Management team!

As USC's SeniorIAM Planning and Engagement Analyst, you will be collaborating with diverse and talented team members to help solve multidimensional information technology problems, improve customer experience, and generate value for our campus stakeholders across a broad base of departments and constituencies.

THE WORK YOU WILL DO

As SeniorIAM Planning and Engagement Analyst, you will be responsible for leading requirements gathering and analysis. You will foster business and IT relationships to help establish IAM roadmaps for the workforce and consumers. You will help align IAM plans with USC business and IT teams, such as IAM engineering. You will manage multiple engagements in a results-based team environment.

The Senior IAM Planning and Engagement Analyst:

  • Defines and prioritizes IAM requirements, deliverables, acceptance criteria, and manages the IAM product backlog by authoring themes, initiatives, epics and user stories.
  • Manages the business and IT relationships to achieve shared goals; responsible for enabling stakeholders to achieve shared goals.
  • Interacts with other USC teams and individuals to execute, advise, plan, build, test, and launch improvements of IAM operational maturity, services, and solutions.
  • Collaborate in the development of Identity and Access Management (IAM) roadmaps that align with current and future business needs.
  • Assist with maintaining and communicating the vision of what should be built to the engineering team.
  • Partners well with other IAM, security and IT functions to ensure we achieve shared objectives.
  • Works closely with program and project managers on the initiation and execution of IAM efforts; leads IAM initiatives as required.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

The ideal candidate for the position of Senior IAM Planning and Engagement meets the following requirements:

  • Master’s degree in business administration, information systems, computer science, or related field
  • 5 years of experience
  • CISSP, CISM, or GIAC certifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Candidates for the position of Senior IAM Planning and Engagement Analyst must meet the following requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree; however, combined experience/education as substitute for minimum education
  • 3 years of information technology (IT) experience demonstrating progressive responsibility, with at least 1 year of Information Security experience
  • Strong understanding of Information Security
  • Excellent understanding of business analysis, requirements analysis, and product management
  • Familiar with IAM concepts (i.e., access management, identity governance and administration, customer IAM, privileged access management)
  • Familiar with IT roadmaps, systems integration, project management, and organizational change management
  • Proven ability to plan and coordinate security solutions in a fast-paced dynamic environment

The annual base salary range for this position is $107,322.84 - $121,000.00. When extending an offer of employment, the University of Southern California considers factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, federal, state, and local laws, contractual stipulations, grant funding, as well as external market and organizational considerations.


Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree. Combined experience/education as substitute for minimum education Minimum Experience: 3 years Minimum Field of Expertise: Three years of information technology experience demonstrating progressive responsibility, with at least one year in information security. Excellent understanding of business analysis, requirements analysis, and product management. Strong understanding of information security. Familiar with IT roadmaps, systems integration, project management, and organizational change management. Proven ability to plan and coordinate security solutions in fast-paced dynamic environment.
