Job Description

--- OU Physicians is Oklahoma's largest physician group and encompasses almost every adult and child specialty.
POSITION INFORMATION: Responsible for providing HR coordination and assistance under the guidance of HR managers at Pediatrics or OU Physicians by performing a variety of HR-related duties.
REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES: 
  • Human Resources. Provides a strong-level of HR & Payroll coordination; assists new employees with benefits, appropriate forms, etc. and explains policies, etc. at employee orientation. 
  • Payroll Coordination. Coordinates the personnel/payroll requirements to include departmental payroll entry, PPP supplements, special pay requests, temp time, personnel requisition, staff appointment/terminations, reclassifications, promotions and transfers, scheduling training/orientation, and OSHA requirements. 
  • Data Collection/Reporting. Coordinates collection and distribution of payroll checks and timecards. Maintains database and prepares reports such as time and attendance records, new hires, terminations and other departmental records as necessary. Independently develops original drafts of material using specialized knowledge. 
  • Data Maintenance. Maintains personnel files ensuring up-to-date and accurate information are maintained as required and appropriate; maintains required training, HIPAA requirements and other documentation as necessary. 
  • Project Coordination. Analyzes a variety of problems and carries out projects or assignments requiring initiative, independent action and specialized skills. 
  • As Needed. Performs various duties as needed to successfully fulfill the function of the position.

    Job Requirements

    --- Education: High School Diploma or GED
    Experience: 60 months experience providing human resources and 12 months payroll-related coordination 
    Preferences:   
    • Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
    • Strong analytical skills

    • Highly organized 
    • Strong customer service skills
