Under the guidance and direction of the Human Resources Director, the Senior Human Resources Analyst will:

  • Manage the payroll/personnel activities for our Venice Family Clinic. 
  • Coordinate the hiring for initial appointment, reappointment, provisional status, and other actions related to Staff. 
  • Apprise HR director of any issues and draft correspondence as needed.  
  • Ensure adherence to department, State, Federal and regulatory agency policies, standards and requirements for Human Resources. 
  • Ensure the processing and payment of staff time reporting, administration of the UCPath, and the maintenance and reconciliation of leave balances for approximately 500 full-time and part-time employees.  
  • Perform complex pay and time reporting analyses, calculations, and transactions resolving complicated pay disputes and effectively communicating resolution to employees and supervisors.
  • Onboard new hires for our Venice Family Clinics and South Bay Family Health Care clinics.
  • Coordinate leaves-of-absences, administering FML, and coordinating disability with UCPath Benefits.
  • Coordinate limited employee appointments, ensuring that supervising managers and limited employees are in compliance with department, and university policies/contracts.
  • Travel between the office (SIMMS/Mann), clinics, campus departments and University offices as needed.
  • Work on special projects as assigned by management.
