Position Summary/Purpose of Position:
Candidate will provide emergency troubleshooting and repair of major semiconductor processing equipment to ensure maximum operability.  Candidate will create schedule and complete preventative maintenance on equipment and peripheral support infrastructure.  Candidate will be responsible for maintaining equipment spares inventory and support consumables (e.g. pumps and chiller) rotation. Desired experience level is more than 7 years in the semiconductor industry working in equipment support for production and/or research activities in cleanroom environments. Experience with semiconductor fabrication equipment in one or more of the following areas: Photolithography, Wet Etch, Dry Etch, CVD, PVD, MBE.  Demonstrated ability to work with cross organizational teams such as researchers, machinists, and building maintenance. Experience interfacing with vendors for equipment repairs, service contracts, and purchase preferred.  Supervisory, process engineering, and equipment installation experience are critical skills for this position as part of the maintenance team.

Minimum Qualifications:
Prior experience of 7 years in industry or higher education in equipment support, production, or device research in a cleanroom environment.  Experience with semiconductor fabrication equipment in one or more of the following areas:  photolithography, wet etch, dry etch, chemical vapor deposition, physical vapor deposition, molecular beam epitaxy.  Demonstrated ability to work with cross-organizational teams including researchers, machinists, and building maintenance staff.  Process engineering, and equipment installation experience are critical skills for this position as part of the maintenance team.
Preferences:
Experience interfacing with vendors for equipment repairs, service contracts, and acquisition/purchasing.   Special consideration will be provided for candidates with experience on major tools such as SPTS/Trikon/Aviza, Oxford, Novellus, LAM Research, Süss, EVG, or Applied Materials.
