Senior Director of Strategic Partnerships

Collaborating closely with esteemed chancellors and gift officers from the University of Alaska Anchorage, the University of Alaska Fairbanks and the University of Alaska Southeast as well as the University of Alaska Foundation team, the senior director will enhance donor engagement efforts and strategically position the universities for future gift opportunities. This is a remarkable opportunity for an experienced fundraising professional to join the team as the primary representative in the Lower 48 states. In this expansive role, one will have the freedom and autonomy to tap into untapped prospects of all constituencies across the US and forge new relationships with donors who have yet to be engaged.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in philanthropy, communications, marketing, public relations, business, public administration, or other field.
Minimum of seven years of related experience in a similar position that includes a heavy emphasis on philanthropic relationship building and private gift proposal writing in the Lower 48 states.

This is a full-time, exempt staff position complete with both a competitive salary and full employee benefits package .
