As a UW employee, you have a unique opportunity to change lives on our campuses, in our state and around the world. UW employees offer their boundless energy, creative problem solving skills and dedication to build stronger minds and a healthier world.

UW faculty and staff also enjoy outstanding benefits, professional growth opportunities and unique resources in an environment noted for diversity, intellectual excitement, artistic pursuits and natural beauty.

UW Continuum College (UWC²) expands the reach of the University of Washington with programs like UW Professional & Continuing Education, International & English Language Programs, Summer Youth and the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at the UW that meet the needs of various learners at all phases of their lives. We’re focused on removing obstacles to relevant educational opportunities by addressing geographic, financial, length of commitment and time constraints, increasing access to knowledge for more people. As a diverse community that values inclusivity and collaboration, we foster a respectful, supportive workplace where innovation comes to life. By looking ahead and experimenting with new approaches, we’re creating new educational opportunities to help people thrive in a world of change.

Diversity and respect for all, is a core value of UW Continuum College. We are committed to improving access to education, removing barriers to entry, and viewing our work through an equity lens. We believe our organization is better when diversity of thought, practice, and experiences are not only welcomed but celebrated. We are passionate about creating, and supporting an inclusive working and learning environment for all students, staff, and faculty.

UW Continuum College has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and innovative leader to join the Academic Partnerships team! Reporting to the Assistant Vice Provost for International and Academic Programs, the Senior Director, Academic Partnerships is responsible for overseeing the team that manages cohesive and comprehensive relationships between UW schools and colleges, other administrative units, and UWC2.

UW Continuum College has programmatic offerings in partnership with almost all UW schools and colleges, as well as with the Bothell campus. In spring 2022, a new financial model was approved for the units that partner with Continuum College on the administration of fee-based programs. As a result, Continuum will be implementing a multi-year plan that fundamentally changes how we partner within UW.

The Senior Director will lead the transition of the new financial model and foundationally new way of interacting with campus partners through establishing a new operating system for partnership management. This will involve creating new norms for activities and new accountabilities for our partnership team, which includes the ability to represent the breadth of UWC2 capabilities. The Senior Director will encourage high levels of innovation to constantly iterate and improve how we are meeting evolving campus partner needs. Fostering innovation and partnership excellence will be the essential job of the Sr. Director.
