Senior Design Project Advisor (TEMP)

The Opportunity:

UCF is seeking to fill multiple roles for the Senior Design Project Advisor (TEMP) role. Candidates for this job posting will be considered for additional vacancies in this department. The Senior Design Project Advisor (TEMP) will work with senior-level project teams in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering under the Capstone Design (Senior Design) program. Project advisors serve as project mentors, working with teams 1-2 hours per week (per team) providing technical and professional guidance.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical guidance in one or more areas of applied engineering.

  • Provide guidance, evaluate performance, and coach student teams on the practice of engineering as a profession.

  • Work on technical projects in a team or group setting.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in a relevant area of Engineering or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219(6) .   

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced credentials are added value to the applicant.
