Job Description:

  • Designs, evolves, and sustains a modernized job architecture.
  • Develops both short- and long-term base pay strategies, and designs action plans for implementation. Maintains market data survey portfolio, submission and result processes, and market data library. 
  • Works independently to coordinate the job evaluation process, including facilitating internal peer reviews and external competitive market pricing surveys and assessments. 
  • Prepares and presents a variety of HR analyses and metrics utilized to inform HR decisions.
  • Provides input to various projects based on data driven insights and makes recommendations for related process improvements.
  • Reviews and enhances compensation-related workflows and reporting in Workday.
  • Ensures compliance with data privacy regulations and best practices.
  • Develops compensation policies, processes, and governance. Creates and manages the base pay structure and governance approach. 
  • Coordinates the University-wide staff annual compensation process, including preparatory and post-process analysis of base pay levels of competitiveness and talent investment. Calibrates and aligns base pay levels appropriately to the level of talent. 
  • Performs other related work as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelorâ™s degree in a relevant field such as human resources, finance, or business administration.

Experience:

  • Experience in a decentralized environment.

Technical Skills or Knowledge:

  • Microsoft Excel (i.e., vlookups, pivot tables, data visualization, etc.).
  • Data analysis and reporting.
  • Experience with Workday.

  • Exceptional customer service orientation and communication skills.
  • Utilize critical thinking skills to draw conclusions and solve problems.
  • Presentation, consultation, and group facilitation skills with experience presenting complex information in an accessible and clear format.
  • Flexible and adaptable in a changing and highly decentralized environment.
  • Develop and monitor project plans and keep all stakeholders informed and appropriately engaged.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information, exercise discretion, and maintain confidentiality.
  • Manage a wide range of responsibilities and multiple projects simultaneously,
