Job Description

This position plays a key role in assuring correct pricing, standardization and compliance with state, university and medical center policies.  Senior Buyers assist our strategic partners with projects and yearly objectives to ensure system data is accurate and up to date.  Senior Buyers manage key components of post-negotiation, assure critical steps are taken for contract implementation, e.g. price file uploads, item master updates, product conversions, coordination with logistics and distribution, etc.  Senior Buyers are the primary contacts for communication with suppliers regarding operational and billing matters, and catalog changes, they are responsible working with fiscal business operations on backorders, substitutions and price assurance. 


    Minimum Qualifications

    Bachelor’s Degree and 4 years of experience in supply chain, customer service, business management, healthcare or relevant field.
