This position performs application development to accomplish department objectives and collaborates with functional users, with Purdue System Cloud, and with technology vendors to support and coordinate projects toward success.
An Application Developer is responsible for designing, developing, implementing, testing, and maintaining software applications. The Developer will analyze, modify, and maintain existing software applications as well as develop new solutions. Additionally, the Developer will develop and execute application test plans and scripts by collaborating with business analysts, functional clients, and technical staff. An Application Developer will also monitor, and troubleshoot to resolution, operational application issues, errors, troubles, etc.
This position will be a team player in a diverse, agile, pro-active applications team within Enterprise Applications, will participate in and contribute to department and University activities and initiatives, and will be expected to take ownership of issues and to respond to requests directly to the extent practical.
This position will be remote but may require occasional campus visits.
