Senior Advisor to Chief Operating Officer

As a member of the medical center operations leadership team, the Senior Advisor to the Chief will plan and lead high visibility projects and manage multiple commitments simultaneously. He or she will be a liaison for various leadership, strategic, and operational initiatives within the medical center, and he/she will set and manage expectations through effective communication. Cultivates internal partnerships at all levels.

  • Lead directly and/or support the Chief on the execution of special projects and initiatives and serve as liaison between team members, executives, senior leaders, and external stakeholders as applicable.
  • Serve as a liaison to the Chief handling inquiries and developing action plans to address them, and assisting with the preparation and dissemination of communications.
  • Support daily operations through collaboration with Chief and department leaders, performing an array of administrative tasks - generating correspondence, planning and preparation for meetings, including but not limited to developing agendas and presentations for the Chief.
  • Meets regularly with the Chief to establish the key priorities for the week and quarter and set calendar of events to ensure medical center objectives are coordinated and attained.
  • Collaborate with department leaders to develop annual operating, labor, and budget plans, partner with departmental leaders in the maintenance of plans. Additionally, support/lead the development of tools to ensure the successful execution of plans. 
  • In addition to the above job responsibilities, other duties may be assigned.
Position Compensation Range: $109,116.80 - $174,595.20 Annual

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: Master's degree in business, accounting, or related discipline.
Experience: At least five years of a combination of administrative and leadership experience. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Licensure: None


PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings, and programs.
