Senior Administrative Program Coordinator
Research Administration Service Units - Main
Location:  New Orleans, LA
Summary
The Senior Administrative Program Coordinator will play a critical role in the successful operation of the Research Administration Service Units (RASU) at Tulane University. The RASU will provide high-quality, consistent, and timely research administrative services to Tulane University researchers. This organizational structure will allow the delivery of services in a consistent, efficient, and professional manner while upholding compliance, ethics, and integrity. We will provide in-depth subject matter expertise and knowledge to ensure compliance with Federal, state and University policies, practices, and procedures. Research Administration Service Units (RASU) are dedicated to high-quality, innovative, and continually improving research administration services. As Senior Administrative Program Coordinator, you will coordinate logistics for a wide range of initiatives. This includes organizing meetings and trainings, maintaining data, assisting with communications initiatives, and providing general administrative support. The ideal candidate for this position should possess excellent organizational and communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects/tasks simultaneously
• Strong interpersonal communication skills, both oral and written 
• Ability to organize online and in-person programs
• Proficient use of computers, including MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) 
• Aptitude for learning 
• Excellent customer service orientation 
• Deadline oriented; works well under pressure 
Required Education and/or Experience
• High School Diploma/equivalent and 3 years of directly-related experience.
Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree
Compensation Information
This position is classified as "non-exempt, hourly" and is assigned to pay grade 24.
