Department Summary
The School of Health Professions is comprised of three academic departments: The Department of Physician Assistant Studies (PA), the Department of Physical Therapy (PT), and Personalized Health and Well-Being with degree programs leading to a Doctorate of Physical Therapy, Masters of Physician Assistant Studies, or Master of Science in Lifestyle Health Sciences and Coaching.
Position Overview
The Senior Administrative Coordinator holds a crucial position at the front desk of the School of Health Professions in the Dean’s Office, reporting directly to the Senior Academic & Business Director. This role serves as the central point of contact, ensuring seamless administrative support for the Dean’s Office leadership team. As a key team member, the Senior Administrative Coordinator not only manages front desk operations but also provides essential backup and supplementary support to the Senior Executive Assistant. With a focus on maintaining a professional and welcoming environment, this position plays a pivotal role in facilitating communication within the school and supporting the day-to-day activities of the Dean’s Office.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and two (2) years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Advanced written communication skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
  • Knowledge of accounting/budgeting procedures.
  • Ability to work under pressure, to adjust to constant changes, to handle multiple tasks, and to coordinate the work of others.
  • Ability to keep complex records, to assemble and organize data of complex nature, and to prepare and submit reports in acceptable formats.
  • Ability to conceptualize, plan and organize multiple programs and assignments effectively.
  • Ability to work on complex and confidential tasks utilizing judgment, tact, and resourcefulness.
  • Skill in developing and maintaining good working relationships.
