Apply today! The AM Engineer is responsible for design and development of components using Additive Manufacturing (AM). As part of that, this roll will be responsible for design, development, and production roll out of a microturbine engine using AM. This includes hands on component design, cycle design, drawing generation with proper application of GD&T, simulations using FEA/CFD tools, test planning and also conducting the testing events, all the way through qualification and production role out. As the overall product owner, this role is responsible for ensuring all components within the assembly are designed and tested to meet requirements and use sound engineering principles while adhering to industry standards, best practices, organizational procedures, and program requirements. Other efforts may include but are not limited to development and delivery of training materials as needed, mentoring junior engineers, assisting in process improvement efforts, participate in various technical challenges and team support activities. This role will be working in a highly agile environment in a multifunctional team and therefore, being a team player and having flexibility, adaptability, attention to detail are key to success. Strong communication and presentation skills are a must for this role to communicate within the team as well as customers and subcontractors.
