Semi-Skilled Laborer

Assists skilled trades workers with more complex tasks in the maintenance and repair of various campus facilities.

2 position will be hired for the period of May 6 – August 23.

1 position will be hired for the period of May 6 – June 21.

Must have the ability to read and interpret written material and instructions.
Ability to understand and follow oral instructions.
Ability to communicate effectively orally.
Ability to communicate effectively in writing.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.

One year of experience in laboring work including the use of tools and equipment used in maintenance and related work.

Applicants must have the ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds; reach, bend squat and kneel on a recurring basis throughout the day;

Applicants must complete a successful on campus interview. Prior to employment the successful candidate will be required to obtain and submit current clearances from the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services, Pennsylvania State Police and the FBI.
