Posting Summary | Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Seasonal Marine Field Worker for the Haskin Shellfish Research Laboratory Complex. This position will be at the Haskin Shellfish Research Laboratory Complex which includes the Haskin Shellfish Lab in Port Norris, NJ, the Cape Shore Laboratory in Green Creek, NJ, the New Jersey Aquaculture Innovation Center in North Cape May, NJ and the Fisheries Cooperative Center in Cape May, NJ as well as occasional travel to field sited and may include work onboard boats. Minimum Education and Experience | • Requires Bachelor degree or enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program in a scientific/technical discipline or an equivalent combination of education and/or relevant laboratory technician or research study experience. |

Physical Demands and Work Environment | • A willingness to work outdoors in adverse conditions during days and hours that correspond to tides, weather and other patterns of nature is required along with the ability to lift 40 lbs. |
