SE- Account Manager, Strategic Planner

Summary

This position is responsible for managing the day-to-day business for Barry Ad Company projects and strategies; developing and maintaining relationships with clients; overseeing production and maintaining creative requirements as set by the Barry University Branding Guidelines and client expectations, among others.

Essential Functions

Oversee the execution of the approved communications plan and strategies in accordance with the objectives and budgets by:

  • Handling digital, print, outdoor, etc. 

  • Staying within the goals and budget parameters

  • Handling all client communications, conflict resolution, and compliance on client deliverables

  • Ensuring that all client issues are handled in a timely and appropriate manner.  

  • Supports the agency’s brand marketing initiatives

  • Consult with Project Managers, Creative, Research and Production teams to develop strategic solutions that communicate Barry University’s Marketing objectives and manage the brand specific jobs from inception to completion. (i.e., promotional items, display advertising, print advertising, digital media, etc.)

  • Act as liaison between advertising agency and various internal departments, clients, and outside vendors to accomplish effective and timely processes, supervising materials in various stages for approval by ad agency, internal team, and client.

  • Co-Manage Brand Marketing and Communications’ overall budget including all aspects of necessary processes as defined by accounting department.

  • Assist with photo and film shoots as well as production schedules.

  • Manage and participate in any events.

  • Maintain job tickets with appropriate information and materials, and proofread and traffic ad copy and proofs, and assist in checking all marketing materials for accuracy.

Build and maintain relationships with clients to encourage new and repeat business by:

  • Act as a liaison with Agency and Marketing department 

  • Provide regular two-way communication between the client and team to provide strong team representation and set proper client expectations 

  • Represent client needs and goals within the project

  • Ensure that all quality standards are met  

  • Conduct internal meetings with Brand Marketing & Communication team members for client projects, as well as attend client meetings as they pertain to brand-specific subject matter  

  • Consistently provide excellent customer service to all stakeholders.

  • Perform other duties as required.


Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelors degree – Any Field of study preferred.
