Posting Summary
Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a SCREAM Performer for the Student Affairs – Violence Prevention & Victim Assistance department.
Among the key duties of the position are the following:
  • Performs with SCREAM Theater for NSO, the Jersey Tour, and in Welcome Week Programming expanding on the work of the office.
  • Engages first year students with Rutgers University and other institutions of higher education.

Qualifications


Minimum Education and Experience
  • High School diploma or equivalent, and/or up to 4 years of relevant office, clerical, bookkeeping, library assistant or related experience depending on the duties to be performed.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous employment as a “SCREAM Performer” during time enrolled within Rutgers University – New Brunswick.

Immunization Requirements

Under Policy 100.3.1 Immunization Policy for Covered Individuals , if employment will commence during Flu Season, Rutgers University may require certain prospective employees to provide proof that they are vaccinated against Seasonal Influenza for the current Flu Season, unless the University has granted the individual a medical or religious exemption. Additional infection control and safety policies may apply.
