Job Summary
We are looking for an exceptionally motivated and independent person for the position of Scientist I, in our lab in the Sanders-Brown Center on Aging. The primary responsibilities of this position are the coordinating experimental design, endpoint analyses, and management of research projects.
This position has a focus on the development and implementation of Cre/lox mouse models of cerebral injury and/or ischemia, histopathology (brightfield and fluorescence), molecular biological methods (e.g. gene expression, RNA/DNA isolation, etc.). Preference will be given to individuals with documented experience in these areas.

Working with animal models.
