The College of Education and Human Ecology (EHE) at The Ohio State University is looking for a Scholarship Manager to support the Office of the Dean

Position Overview
The Scholarship Manager administers the selection, review and awarding of scholarships for undergraduate and graduate students in the College of Education and Human Ecology (EHE). The scholarship manager will be required to administer a fair, effective and thorough process, and will need to work with a variety of stakeholders in the performance of duties, including students, donors, University personnel, and faculty and staff in EHE. This position will also require the managing of scholarship funds and the generation of monthly and yearly reports to EHE departments and administrators. Connected to the above duties, the Scholarship Manager will plan enrichment activities for scholarship recipients and will assist the Associate Dean of Academic Affairs in coordinating opportunities for students in the EHE Honors program.

Position Environment
The Scholarship Manager reports to the Chief of Staff and Director of Strategic Operations. The position is an active team member and works closely with the Student Services team as well as the EHE Administration team and College leaders. This role is uniquely positioned within a dynamic group of services to provide support across the Student lifecycle and is located in the Dean’s Suite in Arps Hall. The College of Education and Human Ecology awards scholarships to graduate and undergraduate students through an annual scholarship selection process. Last year, the College of Education and Human Ecology was able to award more than $1.35 million in scholarships.

Performance Objectives
In the first 60 to 90 days of employment, the successful candidate for this position will accomplish the following:
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of college and university policies and procedures
- Establish pivotal relationships across the all areas of the College and University, especially relating to the Student Services.
- Coordinate effective processes to provide support across diverse population.

Required Qualifications

The selected candidate for this position will have demonstrated success in several areas, including:
- A Master’s degree in an appropriate area or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrable organizational skills

Desired requirements include:
- Knowledge of university rules/procedures in academic matters, admissions, registrar, and records systems

Target Salary $50,000.00 - $56,000.00 Annually
