Description of Work
This position is a part of Nebraska Business Information System team (NeBIS) team responsible for planning, managing, monitoring, and reporting on NeBIS SAP System project activities. The SAP Project Manager will use proven project management methodologies and practices to monitor scope and ensure timely completion of projects. This position provides leadership to NeBIS staff and stakeholders in project management best practices.

Minimum Required Qualifications
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5 years of project management experience to include 3 years of experience coordinating and supporting IT business processes.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification
  • Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail.


An equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired may be considered.

  • Educational coursework in Business Administration, Project Management, Management Information Systems, or Computer Sciences.
  • Experience with Agile project management methodologies is desired.
