The College of Rural and Community Development (CRCD) provides academic and vocational education and outreach that promote workforce preparation, economic development, lifelong learning, and community development through Alaska, with an emphasis on Alaska Natives and underserved communities.
Rural Student Services (RSS) is an academic advising department with over 35 years of experience in working with students from all over the state of Alaska. RSS helps students achieve success by linking them to current information pertinent to their education, lifestyle, and goals. RSS is known for its welcoming and friendly environment. Many students find a meaningful connection at UAF through RSS.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of university environment. Public speaking skills. Ability to comprehend and apply university policies and procedures as they relate to students. Ability to communicate effectively in person and in writing. Ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment.
Three years relevant experience required, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field required.
Staff, Regular, 11-month
Salary: $2,065.60/biweekly, DOE
