RN - Nurse Manager OBGYN Services

Position Description:
Work Schedule: Full Time, Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm
Work Location: OBGYN Services, Womens Health Research Center

Responsible for the daily functional operation and oversight and implementation of the clinical practices, annual operation and personnel budgets and HSF clinical policies and procedures.  Assists in the development of and is responsible for attainment of goals, objectives, plans and policies for established area of responsibility.  Ensures that the services provided within area of responsibility are delivered within established quality and financial standards.  Promotes open and informative communication within area of responsibility.


Position Requirements:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Required:   BSN Degree from an accredited school of professional nursing.
> Five (5) years’ experience in clinical nursing.
> Two (2) years’ experience in nursing leadership.
> Knowledge of current nursing practices with strong interpersonal and leadership skills
> Proficient with computer software programs.

Preferred:   Master’s degree in healthcare related field

LICENSE, CERTIFICATION AND/OR REGISTRATION:
Required:   Current Alabama RN license
Current CPR certification or must be obtained within 30 days of employment

Preferred:   ACLS
