JOB DUTIES
Description
Major functions include: * Triage of patient complaints * Patient assessment, patient evaluation for both adult and pediatric patient populations. * Preparation and administration of intravenous drugs and fluids, immunizations, patient education and psychosocial support. * Act as a resource to other licensed and unlicensed staff members. * Assumes the charge nurse role during non-standard business hours including evenings, weekend and holiday hours. Salary Range: $63.83 -$96.57/ Hourly
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Qualifications
* Current California RN License * Bachelor’s degree in Nursing. * Three years ER, Acute Care or Urgent Care and Pediatric Experience * Knowledge of the Adult and Pediatric patient population and practice operations * Knowledge of all aspects procedures and medication administration in an urgent care setting. * Ability to assume direct involvement and provide backup support during clinic emergencies and in patient related problem solving. * * Phlebotomy and IV skills * Possession of current BCLS and ACLS certification
