Job Summary
The RFID Lab is in need of an iOS developer who will be responsible for the development and maintenance of applications aimed at a range of iOS devices including mobile phones and tablet computers. The primary focus will be development of iOS applications and their integration with back-end services.
Essential Functions
The responsibilities of the position are as following:
  • Design, develop, and implement applications for the iOS platform
  • Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
  • Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
  • Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
  • Conduct rigorous testing, troubleshooting, and ensuring the application performance standards.
  • Create detailed documentation of processes, including design specifications, user guides, and troubleshooting manuals.
Minimum Qualifications
Qualifications:
  • Currently enrolled as an Auburn University undergraduate student.
  • Majoring in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Expectations:
  • Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
  • Experience with iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, etc.
  • Knowledge of other web technologies and UI/UX standards
  • Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools

Preferred Qualifications
Python, strong background in Machine Learning and Math, RFID Experience
Pay Rate $15.00/hour
