Job Duties
This position serves as the Child and Adolescent Fellowship Coordinator as well as the Internal Medicine/Psychiatric (Med-Psych) Residency Training Coordinator and is responsible for assisting the Program Directors with day-to-day administration of the fellowship and resident training program. The coordinator reports to the Program Directors and the Office of Graduate Medical Education, and functions as a chief liaison between the Office of Graduate Medical Education, other BSOM departments, Residents, Fellows, Department Administration, remote training sites, various ECU Health administrative departments, and the Fellowship Director and Med-Psych Residency Training Director. As the primary contact for the residents and fellows, the coordinator is responsible for implementation and reporting of various program requirements, interpreting and communicating policy, and developing solutions for unprecedented or unusual problems.
Currently, hours of clinic operation are from 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday, with an altered schedule certain times of the year or the opportunity to earn compensatory time.
Minimum Education/Experience
Bachelor’s degree; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
License or Certification required by statute or regulation

Experience working in an academic institution.
