We are looking for a Researcher with experience in immunology and cancer immunotherapy. The primary responsibility of this position is to provide technical assistance and support for a translational research lab that focuses on developing novel strategies to improve the efficacy of immunotherapy to treat immune-related diseases. This person will plan and carry out various research projects as assigned and aid professional laboratory staff in the research lab headed by the Principal Investigator (PI). This person makes uses of a variety of specialized equipment typical within area of specialization and may contribute to grant proposal development. This research position will directly report to the laboratory PI. Our group does research on tumor immunology mainly on tumor immune evasion mechanisms and the development of effective cancer immunotherapy. Besides cancer immunology, our group is working on explore the role of immune dysfunction in other human diseases, such as Parkinson’s Disease and Autoimmune diseases. We are seeking a candidate with solid experience on cancer biology, basic and translational immunology, and genetically modified animal models. This includes but not limits to, experience in molecular cloning, high-throughput genetic screens, flow cytometry analyses and murine tumor models.

Masters and 5 years experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Department willing to accept experience in lieu of education
• At least 7-year research experience with Bachelor's degree in Immunology or other related biology fields
• At least 1-year animal research experience
• Record of research accomplishments
