Position Summary:


Conduct research on the role of development and aging in the field of neuroscience.
The Research Technologist will perform neuroscience research to study diseases and effects of aging in the brain and inner ear. Methods to be used include molecular and cell biologic techniques, immunohistochemistry, histology, dye tracing and microscopy. This person will participate in completing experiments, organizing, preparing and analyzing results and maintaining laboratory notebooks and data. This person will assist with mouse colony maintenance, genotyping, and tissue collection. Excellent communications skills are required to interact within the lab and outside collaborators. Candidate should have strong English language writing skills. Prior lab experience is desired.

Salary Range: $40,000 - $60,000/annual
