Research Technician
UPCI Research Lab-Delgoffe, Greg - Pennsylvania-Pittsburgh - (24002949)
Performs a variety of laboratory experiments: such as flow cytometry, molecular techniques, genotyping, and related technical functions, testing, troubleshooting, and analysis, including microsurgical procedures and ensuring conformity to specifications.
• Identifies and prepares specimens.
• Oversees supply management: receiving items/inventory.
• Animal Handling (mice) and husbandry.
• Keeps detailed, accurate, and timely data and logbooks. Organizes and documents results.
• Maintains laboratory operations, and tests sterility of laboratory equipment.

Essential Functions
Performs a variety of laboratory experiments and assists with research projects, prepares specimens, reagents, and solutions. General oversight of laboratory inventory, daily laboratory operations.
Physical Effort
Little physical effort required. Duties are primarily sedentary.
