Position Summary
Temporary research technician position in a laboratory that studies mechanisms of joint injury in osteoarthritis. The candidate should be able to perform routine laboratory maintenance and duties for research activities. Ability to work with laboratory personnel, follow directions, good work ethics, reliable, and dependable. The advanced candidate will be readily assigned higher levels of responsibilities utilizing advanced techniques.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

Demonstrated possession of the competencies necessary to perform the work.
Required Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience
Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft word, excel, power point; knowledge of basic chemistry and biochemistry, basic lab skills (pipetting, making dilutions, follow lab protocols), organization of data into spreadsheets.
Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience
Experience in animal tissue preparation.
