Position Summary/Description:


THIS IS A TIME-LIMITED POSITION WITH AN ESTIMATED DURATION OF 2 YEARS.
The primary purpose of this position is to operate and maintain lllumina Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) System, day-to day and generate sequencing data in order to run analyses for research investigators The Research Technician will be responsible for technical details and troubleshooting regarding the experiments he or she conducted with this technology to meet HTSF quality needs and will assist in various genomics projects. The individual will follow established protocols under the supervision of the Director and the Sequencing Manager. Other responsibility will include using HTSP Laboratory Information Management Systems for sample and experiment processes and using QAQC values collected on libraries to conduct sample preparation for sequencing.

Education and Experience:


Demonstrated possession of the competencies necessary to perform the work.
