The Franks Lab at Duke University is seeking a motivated Research Technician to join our dynamic team. Our lab is dedicated to unraveling the mysteries of neural processing, focusing on the intersection between perception and memory using the mouse olfactory system. Using innovative techniques including in vivo and in vitro electrophysiological recordings, behavioral analyses, and advanced optogenetic and chemogenetic approaches, we are committed to unlocking the complexities of neural circuitry.

As a Research Technician in our lab, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience investigating the structure and function of neural circuits while working in a state-of-the-art research environment. We welcome recent graduates who are eager to contribute to cutting-edge research and expand their skills in neuroscience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Bachelor's degree in biology, neurosciences, physics, or related disciplines.
  • Experience with Python, MATLAB, or similar coding environments preferred.
