Research Technician II - Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology

Duke University’s Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology has an immediate opening for a Research Technician working in Dr. Margeaux Marbrey’s lab.

Work Performed

Maintaining and cleaning laboratory and preserving inventory of material, supplies, and equipment needed for experimentation.

Mouse colony management and mouse exposure experiments

Performance of molecular biology experiments including gene and protein expression, mouse genotyping, and PCR.

Cell culture experiments and maintenance of cell lines

Making solutions, cell culture medias, and reagents.

Minimum Qualifications
Education

Work generally requires a bachelor's degree in botany, biology, zoology, psychology or other directly related scientific field.

Experience

None required above education/training requirement. OR AN EQUIVALENT COMBINATION OF RELEVANT EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
