This position is full-time and works approximately 37.5 hours per week.

This position is in the Department of Psychological & Brain Sciences in the School of Arts & Sciences.  This position is for the Danforth Campus.



Essential Functions

POSITION SUMMARY:

Coordinate recruitment and data collection for study of emotion, cognition, and aging. Supervise undergraduate research assistants involved in laboratory testing of study participants, test participants when necessary, and manage project database.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Recruit study participants.
  • Supervise undergraduate research assistants involved in recruiting and testing study participants in our laboratory in the Psychology Building.
  • Assist in the testing of study participants.
  • Communicate with the Institutional Review Board as necessary.
  • Assist with data organization, storage, and statistical analysis.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


  • Required Qualifications

    Equivalent combination of education and experience equaling 4 years in related field or Bachelor’s degree in related field.



    Preferred Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree.
    • Experience with cognitive testing or computerized testing.
    • Experience with E-prime or computer programming.
    • Experience with SPSS, R, or other statistical programs.
    • Basic computer skills (word processing, Excel).
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills.
    • Excellent organizational skills.


    Salary Range

    The hiring range for this position is $12.70 -  $15.97 per hour.
