  • Mice studies including GF and SPF -all aspects including but not limited to cell line culture, expansion., injection to mice, tumor size, oral gavages, euthanasia, tumor and tissue collection, mice breeding, weaning etc. 
  • Processing of human and mice samples- blood, tissue, fecal pellets.
  • Single cell suspension prep, PCR, Western blot and flow cytometry (willing to train)

  • May need to consent patients, call patients, collect samples and process it.
  • Experiments may include fecal microbiota transfer to mice. (willing to train)
  • Maintaining record of experiments, documentation of consent.

  • Writing IUCUC and IRB protocols.
  • Help with abstract and manuscript writing.
  • If GF mice are in another facility, ability to commute to the facility.

  • Ordering supplies
  • Undergo necessary training to accomplish the tasks required.
  • Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.

Minimum Qualifications
Education

Work requires an Associate's degree in botany, biology, zoology, psychology or other science related scientific field.

None required above education/training requirement OR AN EQUIVALENT COMBINATION OF RELEVANT EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
