Job Overview
Supports ongoing recruitment into research projects in behavioral health (including patient outcomes of cancer screening, genetic testing), preparing participant materials, interacting with clinic staff, data collections via telephone interviews and online surveys, data entry, and data tracking, maintaining files, and conducting quality assurance.
Work Interactions and Work Mode Designation
This person will impact patient enrollment into several research studies. Represents research program staff on a daily basis. Direct contact with patients through role as interviewer. Also represents LCCC to many collaborative research sites.
This position has been designated as Hybrid 3 Days. Please note that work mode designations are regularly reviewed in order to meet the evolving needs of the University. Requirements and Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 2 to 3 years of related experience in a clinical research setting
Knowledge of Microsoft software, statistical software, Redcap database software.
Attention to detail and ability to multitask very important.
Preferred:
Bachelor’s Degree in health sciences
Experience with clinical research (e.g. gathering informed consent, interacting with participants/patients, collecting data, etc.)
CITI Training (IRB/Human Subjects Research)
Experience using REDCap and Qualtrics survey softwares
Experience with literature reviews and using EndNote or Zotero to manage references
Interest in cancer-related and/or behavioral health-related topics
