Assists with germplasm evaluation through flow cytometry; assist with seed viability and germination testing of accessions preserved at OPGC; assists with data entry into the Germplasm Resources Information Network; assists with germplasm seed production and trait characterization in the field and greenhouse; assists with seed harvesting, and cleaning; assists with seed distribution to researchers worldwide; assists with OPGC to foster relationships with local and national stakeholders; assists in the maintenance and propagation of tissue cultures; participate in OPGC outreach and extension events; assists in maintaining the lab website and social media with content related to news, activities, and ongoing projects; provides support to OPGC programs as needed.

Education

High School graduate or Associate Degree

Required Experience

0-1 years of relevant experience; valid driver's license.

The salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limit to, education, years of experience, internal equity, etc.
