Posting Summary | Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Research Teaching Specialist V in the Center for Advanced Biotechnology and Medicine (CABM) at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. A research position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Alexander Valvezan at the Rutgers University Center for Advanced Biotechnology and Medicine (CABM). The Valvezan Lab studies the complex interplay between signaling pathways and metabolic networks in cell growth and cancer, with emphasis on exploiting metabolic vulnerabilities to develop new therapeutic approaches. The candidate will pursue their own independent research project, working at the interface of basic and translational science. This position is an excellent training opportunity for those aspiring to pursue careers in science and/or medicine. COVID-19 Immunization Requirement | Rutgers University requires all new employees to provide proof that they are fully vaccinated and have received a booster (where eligible) against COVID-19 prior to commencement of employment, unless the University has granted the employee a medical or religious exemption. Employees who are not eligible for a booster at the time of an offer of employment provide proof they have received a booster upon eligibility and upload proof of same. Based on current guidance, individuals are considered fully vaccinated against COVID-19 two weeks after receiving the final dose of a vaccine approved or authorized for emergency use in the United States or a vaccine that has been listed for emergency use by the World Health Organization. Failure to provide proof of primary vaccination and booster will result in rescission of a candidate’s offer of employment or disciplinary action up to and including termination. |
