Summary of Duties:

Coordinate a twin study that is collecting data about social relationships, health, and cognitive outcomes, applying knowledge and skills that are specific to the study and that meet the mission and goals of the program under general supervision of the Principal Investigator (PI) and Scientific Operations Manager.


The coordinator will be responsible for recruitment of study participants, shipping and tracking study materials, data entry and will interpret and apply study protocols. The coordinator will work with the study team at the University of Arizona to ensure that all study components are completed.

Required Qualifications:


Two years of college level course work in a relevant academic area AND two years of experience as a Research Study Assistant OR equivalent education/experience.

Additional Requirements:

  • Experience with MS Office software, including Word, Excel, and Access.

  • Willing to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends when necessary.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with survey research applications such as Redcap or Qualtrics.

  • Demonstrated experience working independently and as part of a team on multiple projects.

  • Demonstrated written/oral communication and organizational skills.

  • Demonstrated experience with proofreading and editing documents.

Monthly Salary: Range #38 $3,220 to $4,282 A-M | Successful candidates typically begin at the beginning of the salary range and receive scheduled salary increment increases in accordance with WAC 357-28. Step M is typically a longevity step.
