Position Information | School of Pharmacy and Health Professions The University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES) invites applicants for a Research Study Coordinator position for the Trustworthy AI to address health disparities in Under-Resourced Communities (AI-For-U) research project in the School of Pharmacy and Health Professions. We seek candidates who can work with diverse groups of project respondents, healthcare practitioners, faculty and students. This is a full time, 12-month, grant-funded position with benefits. The position reports to the Dean of the School of Pharmacy & Health Professions but will work closely with AI-For-U for project Co-Principal Investigators. Salary is $60,000. AI-FOR-U aims to develop artificial intelligence (AI) tools that are fair, understandable, and effectively serve under-resourced communities in the health sector. Focused on cardiometabolic disease, oncology, and behavioral health, this initiative combines theory-driven community engagement with cutting-edge AI technology, prioritizing inclusivity and stakeholder-driven approaches. Position Information: The Research Study Coordinator will play a pivotal role in the AI-FOR-U project, supporting the Principal Investigator by ensuring that communications, required reports, and project activities are effectively managed. |
