Research Assistant position available for gap year students to support dermatology research in melanoma and dermatopathology administrative services. This is a full-time position for a minimum of one year and may be renewable upon performance review. Preference will be given to applicants who can commit to two years. Opportunities for research in dermatology/dermatopathology will involve basic and translational research and are likely to result in co-authorship in scientific publications which will be highly supportive for medical school applications.   • Bachelor's Degree with a major in biology/biochemistry/biotechnology or other relevant field.
  • Knowledge of information and techniques related to either biology, chemistry, or medicine is preferred.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills (written and verbal) and be able to work with a wide variety of faculty and staff.
  • Ability to analyze information and use logic to address work-related issues and problems.
  • Attention to detail and ability to be thorough in completing work tasks.
  • Ability to work within a team environment.
