Bachelor’s degree in social science or related field required. Master’s degree in social science preferred. A minimum of 3 years related research experience. Possesses and applies comprehensive knowledge of research principles, concepts, practices and methods.

Best Candidate:

Will entail a variety of skills and tasks dealing with managing and executing a large psychological research project. These tasks include designing and executing research protocols, data collection and analyses procedures for psychology and psychiatry mental health services research studies. The candidate will be asked to develop and write study protocols for mental health services research studies, as well as coordinate and execute advanced psychological research studies. As a part of managing a large psychological research study, job duties include monitoring the progress and daily operations of the research projects, implementing changes as needed, supervising staff (e.g., training, advising), and communicating with community partners. The job also entails preparing and organizing psychological research results for presentations and reports, with opportunities to contribute to publications, grants, and presentations as author or co-author. Finally, candidate may be asked to perform other duties related to psychological research and participate in special projects as assigned.
