Research Assistant will be part of the BU CTE center tissue culture initiative. This individual will perform and assist in research projects aimed at understanding the mechanisms of neurodegenerative diseases, like CTE and Alzheimer’s disease, using both primary and immortalized neural cells. They will also be involved in human neuropathology studies and assist in the daily operation of the BU CTE brain bank. This individual will obtain firsthand teaching in neurology, neuropathology, and experimental pathology from world-renown experts in the field and be part of cutting-edge research. The position requires handling human biological samples and preparation of samples for analysis.


Applicants should have a bachelor's degree and 1-3 years of experience in neuroscience or a related field.
